About  Bright

Hi! I'm Alison Jagger the creator of  Bright  and I am a maths teacher!

 

I graduated from University of Sheffield in 2014 with a degree in Mathematics with Employment Experience (having spent my third year working as a Maths HLTA in a Secondary school). I continued my studies at Sheffield to complete my PGDE and also a Master's degree in Education during my NQT year.

I have taught at secondary academies in the Wakefield district since 2015 and I am proud to still be a classroom practitioner alongside running this website. I have been creating and sharing resources for over a decade now (previously on TES and as 'JaggersMaths').​

​

I launched  Bright  in 2023 to pull together all of my resources; the schemes of learning I developed, lesson resources, GCSE revision materials, and enrichment lessons in a more user friendly and organised way.
